All classes are being held online through Zoom. You do not need a zoom account to attend a workshop. Students with cameras will be able to share their work with other artists in class and are highly recommended to do so. Sharing our work is the best part about creating together and helps us stay connected.
Here is a list of supplies young artists will need for class:
- Artist Pencils (I recommend these)
- Strathmore 400 Series drawing journal
- Kneaded eraser
- White eraser
- Pencil sharpener
- Ultra Fine Point Sharpie or Micron 01
- Blending stumps
- *Optional Tombow Mono Zero Erasers size 2.3 and 2.5×5
- *Optional color pencils or markers
In this beginner drawing class artists will be exposed to different drawing techniques with graphite and ink. The goal for this class is to help artists work to further develop their fine motor, concentration, decision making and problem solving skills while building confidence. This class will focus on stretching observational skills and we will be mostly working on realistic drawing. The subject of our drawing will change monthly and students will have an opportunity to weigh in on what subject they would like to focus on.
All abilities are welcome!

Classes will be held the following Mondays of the 2021-2022 school year. Class schedule aligns with NSD calendar.

May 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd
Your monthly tuition reserves a spot in the class. No refunds are given for missed classes or shortened months.
